Mission Statement ...

We are the family & friends of a very beautiful, fragile little girl who is in need of much help. Due to complications at birth, Nola was left severely physically and mentally disabled. Her mother has, completely on her own, been at her side, around the clock, every day of Nola's young life, giving her so much tender care & love, sacrificing having anything for herself in her own life. It is the fierce love of a mother and it is what you do when your child needs you ...but Nola is now 3 years old, getting heavier & more of a challenge to care for. She has regular doctor visits many hours away, which take gas & often hotel stays, with almost no way of receiving financial help. Nola's mother must load her into a small, unreliable car with no air conditioning, to make the journey. This is on top of many emergency room visits, life flights, and months of stay in the critical care unit at Children's Hospital throughout the years and stress & heartache beyond imagining. We are starting this community in hopes that we can help in some way. The premise is to beseech the wonderful, generous crafting, sewing & knitting communities that are out there. If there is any way you can help, we would be so thankful. We are going to be generating ideas to get the aid of all the helpful hands out there for any handmade items at all, the proceeds of which will go 100%, directly to Nola and her care. As dedicated crafters ourselves, we will do our best to provide ideas & hunt down resources to make it easier for all you caring hearts out there to be generous with a bit of your time & craft. We look forward to hearing from each of you ...
